How to have plump and swollen lips with natural techniques and methods

You would like plump, swollen, and sensual lips, but nature has given you thin and fine lips: what can you do to enlarge your lips naturally?

Natural products to have full lips

There are probably no miraculous methods and ingredients for swelling the lips, but it is certainly possible to help nature by taking care of your lips.

In fact, by hydrating and stimulating the circulation of the lips, it is possible to counteract the signs of aging, minimize the loss of water from the tissues (responsible for the loss of turgor), and stimulate collagen production by the cells of the epidermis. Furthermore, with some make-up makeup, the lips can appear more voluminous and full.

To have plump and swollen lips, it is important to hydrate them daily and several times a day with a balm based on Shea butter, vegetable oils, and hyaluronic acid: these ingredients provide water to the tissues, hinder their evaporation, and stimulate our cells to produce collagen.

The result will be to have softer and fuller lips. Once a week, pamper your lips further and prepare a gentle scrub to eliminate cuticles, stimulate circulation and further soften the skin: mix a teaspoon of brown sugar with a teaspoon of olive oil and massage gently on wet lips. Rinse with warm water and apply the lip balm.

To make lips appear swollen and voluminous, pay attention to make-up: avoid matte lipsticks, which do not give to those with thin lips; better opt for a gloss that gives the illusion of having fuller lips. Also, be wary of the methods that promise to have swollen lips through a sort of ” sucking ” of the tissues since your lips may appear plumper but also red and irritated.

Attention also to natural ingredients that give volume to the lips but which could irritate them. This is the case, for example, with chilli oil: it is true that chilli stimulates circulation and creates a temporary volumizing effect on the lips; Chilli oil is irritating, and those who have delicate and particularly reactive skin may find unsightly discomfort and redness.

Before applying the chilli oil on the lips, test it on a small area of the skin and observe the reaction of the epidermis in the hours following the application. If you do not show irritation or redness, you can try using it on the lips, perhaps adding it to a balm prepared by you.

DIY lip balm

To prepare a conditioner useful for moisturizing and to soften the lips, you need Shea butter, castor oil, and wax (bees or vegetables, such as mimosa) in equal parts.

If your skin tolerates chilli oil well, use it instead of castor oil. The chilli oil is on the market already ready (for food use), but you can also prepare it at home by letting a handful of chillies dried in olive oil soak for at least a week.

How to prepare lip balm

Get 3 grams of Shea butter, 3 grams of vegetable oil or chili pepper oil, and 3 grams of wax and heat in a water bath until the mixture appears liquid. Mix and pour everything into a well-cleaned stick or in a garter; use the lip balm several times a day, applying a small amount.

The exercises to have full lips

The technique that promises to give volume to the lips in a natural way is called face yoga. These are targeted exercises that allow you to tone the tissues and plump the lips since they stimulate the activity of the cells to produce collagen.

Performing the exercises to swell the lips is simple and takes a few minutes a day: it is worth trying if you want to have full lips!

The exercises consist of simple daily gestures to be repeated for ten minutes a day. Before you start, drink a glass of water, apply lip balm, and stand in front of the mirror. Then proceed with the following series of exercises, repeating each exercise ten times:

  • Press the open hand on the lips and release the hand blowing with the lips to send a kiss.
  • Contract your lips as if to kiss and hold this position for about ten seconds.
  • Open your mouth wide as if you were amazed and hold your position for ten seconds.
  • Alternately inflate the cheeks ten times.

At the end of the series, tap your hands on the lips for a few seconds to activate circulation.
