Depending on the color and the use made of them, these products, as well as eye shadows, can be used as:

  • Blush: to be applied as a normal blusher.

  • Gloss: mineral eyeshadows can transform the transparent gloss into a colored gloss.
  • Eyeliner: by mixing a dark mineral eyeshadow with a minimal amount of eye primer, you can obtain a product similar to a cream eyeliner.

How to use mineral blush

The mineral blush is used as a normal blusher, i.e., blending the color on the cheeks with a suitable brush. The mineral blush, compared to other blushes, has some advantages:

  • It respects the skin more, as it does not contain silicones, petrolatum, parabens, or other potentially allergenic synthetic products.
  • It allows for obtaining a very natural effect.
  • It is more versatile. It can, for example, be added to the transparent gloss to obtain a colored gloss.

Who can use mineral cosmetics?

Mineral cosmetics are suitable for all skin types but are especially indicated for oily and combination skin, with an acneic tendency. They contain zinc oxide, a healing and soothing substance; they are also opacifying.

Mineral cosmetics can also be used on dry skin. The important thing is to hydrate and nourish it well with specific products.

Finally, mineral cosmetics are indicated for sensitive skin. The absence of aggressive synthetic ingredients makes them delicate and skin-friendly products.

Eye shadows are also indicated for those who wear contact lenses precisely because of their mineral composition and free of potentially irritating synthetic substances. However, in this case, it is still advisable to apply them with a little primer or cream to avoid that the excellent powders penetrating under the lenses, cause some slight discomfort.
