Natural Soaps: Aleppo Soap

It is one of the best-known natural soaps and is usually used for laundry. In reality, Marseille soap, when it contains a low percentage of caustic soda, is also indicated for body hygiene. In its composition, we find, in addition to olive oil, sodium hydroxide, and possibly, even essential oils, a certain percentage of caustic soda.

How is Marseille soap used? For hand washing or, after having reduced it to flakes and washing in the washing machine, it is a very effective stain remover and can be used to pre-treat all types of stains. In addition, with Marseille soap dissolved in water and over low heat, a natural product for cleaning domestic surfaces and an effective pesticide for plants can be obtained.

It is also particularly suitable to be inserted in drawers and wardrobes to absorb the smell of closed. Marseille soap with low caustic soda content can be used to wash hands and bodies or cleanse the face. However, it has a fundamental ph; it is not suitable for intimate hygiene.

Natural soaps: Nablus soap

Nablus soap is produced with pure olive oil, first squeezed. It originates from the city from which it takes its name, in Palestine, and the soap factories that now manage to produce it can be counted on the fingertips. It is a very precious natural soap.

How is Nablus soap used? It is a particularly moisturizing natural soap produced from pure olive oil and is more suitable for dry skin than Aleppo and Marseille soap. It is rich in glycerin and antioxidants; it is nourishing and emollient.
